Had an 8am appt the morning after the big storm. The office was bustling with activity. I was called back after a 5 minute wait time. I had someone by my side for most of the visit, explaining things, asking health questions, asking about my comfort. Several times I was reminded of the time and that my procedure would start at X time. Like clockwork, I was moved into the procedure room where I was introduced to my team. The anesthesiologist and Dr Hernandez both explained what would happen. The next I knew I was awakened in recovery by my nurse and support staff. They helped me get dressed and wheeled me out the door to my waiting friend. The level of professionalism, Compassion and attention to details was impressive.

I just moved to the area in May 2024. This is the worst gastroenterology office I have ever been to. I’ve had Crohn’s disease since I was 12. I am 59 years old. I was getting excellent care in Northern Virginia. When I moved here I was dealing with serious issues. They never even offered to run one test on me not a CAT scan not an MRI not a colonoscopy. Nothing! That is just a few of the issues I had. There was always a terrible lack of communication. Really disappointing - very unprofessional. I never felt cared for. I never felt like I mattered so I never ever returned again. This review says it’s from Rodney Jackson, but I am his wife, Marsha Jackson. I am the patient.

Horrible experience with the staff on the endoscopy side... twice!!!! Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Bye.Edit to add: Contacting you to discuss is meaningless. I contacted you with my initial complaint... the fact that they are still employed and mistreating patients is abhorrent.

I have been to doctors my whole life, long term GI issues since childhood, and I have maybe once or twice in my whole life left a negative review on something because I believe i’m an optimist 99% of the time. that being said, the worst doctor/specialist experience of my entire life. Went in several times due to GI pain and discomfort, paid the expensive co pay, was sent him with over the counter medicine, not listened to thoroughly whatsoever, had to practically beg to get a stool sample done, that was 8 days ago, no answer, can’t get anyone on the phone, was finally able to get someone on the phone, told i’d be called back, never recieved any calls, told the doctor I was in pain and it was affecting my mental health, nothing. After over 3 weeks of dealing with this, tonight I went to an URGENT CARE, because of severe abdominal/GI discomfort, because my GI doctor was 0 help, and had no other ideas of getting help. Quick, efficient, listened to me, did scans, blood test, I test positive for H.Pylori which I had brought up weeks ago to my GI doctor as a possibility and it was waved off due to “it being rare”, which by the way can cause stomach ulcers if left untreated for a while, so thanks for that. Ladies up front and in the back were super kind, no problem with them, doctors/ a specific doctor does not listen to patients, would never recommend anyone going to them, got a referral for a new GI facility, good riddance. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

Dr Cornell is the best. I’ve had several tests done and he’s been so informative and patient with me. He takes his time and explains every thing with you. Would recommend him to anyone. Wouldn’t want to go to anyone else.

Horrible experience with the staff here. Had a procedure scheduled and got the call 2 days out from the nurse who told me that my planned driver could not be my daughter since she was not 18. After questioning that the facility manager chimed in that information was incorrect and she could be my driver so we proceeded. Did all the prep the day before. Called the morning of with a question only to be told that my procedure had been cancelled however we can get you in tomorrow. They had no idea why it was cancelled but after 24 hours of no food and doing all of the prep to be told it was cancelled was beyond words.

Staff in this office are efficient and friendly. Nurse Holly is always there for her patients questions and does her job with a smile and kindness. Appointments are seen on time and as a patient you never feel rushed.

Dr. Pearson is very professional, he explains procedures in detail, makes the patient feel at ease and in safe hands. I am so happy to be in his care, I would highly recommend him. We want other doctors to be like him.

We really liked this doctor. He gave us a lot of insight into my father's condition and we appreciated his honesty and reluctance to perform any unnecessary procedures on him at his age.
